Achieving Record Growth, and Still Growing
Ingram’s Magazine, the leading business publication in Kansas and Missouri for over 45 years, has released its 37th Annual Corporate Report 100, and we are thrilled to share that Propio has made its way to #39 in that report. Ingram’s Corporate Report 100 is an annual report designed to highlight companies in the bi-state region that experienced dramatic growth in the prior year, ending 2021 in “the pink of health.”

Ingram’s highlights the fact that Propio has doubled in size since 2019, when Marco Assis entered the scene as CEO. With a growth percentage of 165.47% and monthly record revenues, Propio has no plans of slowing down, and is on track for another year of record growth.
Proprietary Technology
One of many important factors in this growth is the development and implementation of Propio’s proprietary technology, specifically the Propio ONE app. The launch of this proprietary mobile app system gave users access to over 5,000 interpreters for audio or video, and access to on-demand and scheduled interpretation services at the touch of a button. The technological growth doesn’t stop with Propio ONE, however. Propio CONNECT, Propio ECHO, and an upgraded proprietary call routing system all combined to drive Propio forward.
Acquisition and Investment
The past two years have also been striking in terms of acquisitions and investment, with Propio acquiring multiple high-profile players in the language services industry: Vocalink Global, ARCH, Intelligere, Telelanguage, and LSP Ware. By integrating the high-caliber services of these companies with what we’ve built here at Propio, we are pleased to be able to expand our offerings without sacrificing quality.
Growing Internationally, Thriving Locally
After such an exciting couple of years, Ingram’s isn’t the first local recognition Propio has been honored to receive. In May, Propio received the Champions of Business award from the Kansas City Business Journal for its record-breaking growth, innovation, and community involvement. Shortly before that, Propio received a NOVA award from the Overland Park Economic Development Council for the record-breaking growth we achieved last year. The importance of these awards and listings is not lost on all of us at Propio — the local support, encouragement, and friendship of these organizations are integral to our success, and we are grateful to base our operations in this incredible part of the country.
