Interns spend the summer gaining hands-on experience in Human Resources, Software Engineering and Technology, Data Analytics, Client Success, or Finance and Accounting, with some departments offering rotational assignments so students can explore multiple specialties within their field. Working a true 8:30 AM-5:00 PM schedule in our Overland Park office, interns collaborate directly with experienced teams, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop real professional skills. Our HR Teams

Human Resources shapes every stage of the employee lifecycle, serving as the backbone of Propio’s culture and people strategy. Critical HR Functions and Activities Include:

Our Engineering Teams

Software Engineering builds, scales, and continually improves the technology that powers Propio’s language solutions. Our engineering organization includes specialized teams in:

  • Front-end development – creating intuitive user interfaces
  • Back-end development – building APIs and core system logic
  • QA/testing – ensuring reliability and performance
  • Automation – streamlining processes and deployments
  • Cloud and infrastructure engineering – managing architecture, security, and uptime
  • Product engineering – translating business needs into technical solutions

An Engineering intern can expect to support multiple stages of the development lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience with coding, testing, documentation, sprint planning, and cross-team collaboration, gaining a hands-on look at how modern engineering teams work together to build secure, scalable, high-impact products.

Our Data Teams

Data Analytics turns raw data into insights that drive smarter decisions at Propio. The team covers:

  • Data engineering – building and maintaining data pipelines
  • Data modeling – structuring data for accuracy and usability
  • Business intelligence – turning complex information into actionable reporting

The team also develops dashboards for operational and executive visibility, conducts forecasting and trend analysis, and creates data visualizations that bring insights to life for non-technical stakeholders. Analysts collaborate closely with Product, Finance, Operations, and Client teams to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and measure the impact of Propio’s solutions.

A Data intern can expect to gain exposure to this full ecosystem, seeing how data flows from its source through transformation, modeling, and visualization, while working on real projects that strengthen their technical, analytical, and storytelling skills.

Our Client Teams

The Client function at Propio delivers an exceptional experience across every stage of a customer’s journey. The team includes:

  • Implementation – system setup, configuration, training, and go-live support
  • Customer support –  system setup, configuration, training, and go-live support
  • Account Management – relationship management, adoption, and long-term growth

Together, these groups work cross-functionally to anticipate challenges, solve problems, and maximize the value clients receive from Propio’s language solutions. 

A Client Success intern can expect to gain a 360° view of how a world-class client experience is built, delivered, and continuously improved.

Our Finance Teams

Finance and Accounting safeguard Propio’s financial health and provide the insights that guide strategic decision-making.

  • Accounting – AP/AR, close, reporting, audits, and compliance
  • Finance – budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and financial modeling
  • Business Support – strategic insights for leaders and long-term planning

Together, these teams ensure Propio stays compliant, efficient, and positioned for long-term success.

A Finance intern can expect to have the opportunity to explore both finance and accounting tracks, from hands-on operational tasks to analytical project work, giving them a well-rounded understanding of how financial discipline supports every major business decision.
